Of course one would always like to raise more for a good cause, but the fundraiser was a successful day.

Spent the month making donations for a fundraiser for my local domestic violence shelter.

I’ve been busy perfecting sushi, using the Non-traditional pate de verre technique developed by Evelyn Gottschall Baker.

Work on the sidelite continues

Finished the sidelite and installed it in its’ forever home

I wasn’t able to do much glasswork in April as I recovered from knee surgery, but now I’m back in the studio.

On the workbench right now is a gift for my nephew and his wife.

On the workbench right now is a commission for a stained glass sidelite based on a traditional quilt pattern

This antique Amish quilt from World of Amish Quilts by Rachel T. Pellman (1998) was my inspiration
