I began working with glass in 2002 when I took a class in copper-foil stained glass at my local rec center.
Several years later, I was exposed to “warm-glass” or kiln fusing. This greatly expanded the possibilities that medium of glass offers, and deepened my obsession.
Glass and light interact in ways that I adore. A piece of glass changes color and character as light shines through it. In turn, the light is changed by its’ passage through the glass-gaining new colors or being split prismatically into its’ own component colors.
Living in Colorado, the mountains, trees, birds and flowers of my surroundings outside my studio provide a constant source of inspiration for my artwork.
My work can currently be found for sale at the Tilted Tulip gift shop at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Or, contact me directly to discuss custom designs.
